"How Monstrous!"
This independent study explores the intersection of wearable art, digital fabrication and self-expression, using 3D modeling and printing to create sculptural facial accessories. Rooted in queer bodily practice and transformation, the project investigates how form, material and attachment methods shape identity and personal aesthetics.
Each iteration refines design, structure and fabrication techniques, balancing technical problem-solving with conceptual depth. Weekly documentation tracks the evolution of these wearable pieces—from early sketches and topology experiments to material testing and 3D printing breakthroughs.
